The American Association of University Women (AAUW) of Boulder announces the opportunity for Boulder CU Graduate Women to apply for a $1000 Grant.
Forty-one years ago, branch member Lydia Brown, the Dean of Women at CU from 1928 to 1946, left a bequest of $7,000 to the Boulder Branch of AAUW to help “worthy graduate women at CU.”
Since then, AAUW members Elizabeth Ricketts, Teacher at Casey Junior High, and Bernice Udick, Professor of Romance Languages at CU have added to the grant fund. Every two years (even numbered), the Boulder Branch of AAUW awards $1000 scholarships from this fund to University of Colorado graduate women.
Brown/ Ricketts/ Udick Application 2020 : The application process is now open.
