Twenty years ago, branch member Lydia Brown left a bequest of $7,000 to the branch to help “worthy graduate women at CU.” Since then, AAUW members Elizabeth Ricketts and Berny Udick have added gifts to the grant fund. Every two years (even-numbered years), the Boulder Branch awards $1000 scholarships from the interest from this endowment to University of Colorado graduate women.
